Simple, gentle,

quality dentistry.

About us

Dr. Saad Alsabie

Graduated in 1996 from University of Baghdad, moved to New Zealand in 2000 and started work in 2002, married with two children.

My passion about dentistry grew up with time (let’s be honest here no one DREAMS of becoming a DENTIST). The reason being, this profession has a bit of multitasking involved but the most important one is ABILITY TO LISTEN TO THE PATIENT’S CONCERN, FULLSTOP! For example, complaining of pain, sensitivity, un-aesthetic filling or gap, fear of dentistry...etc.

Doing the examination with the gadgets and tools follows and as soon as I get to the point of finding and assessing the issue of their concern, I start to explain it, give them options of treatment, the success rate and the cost, as I like to put myself “in my patients’ shoes”

I would like to welcome all of you to our humble effort in the beautiful place called Greenhithe.

Dr. Nashwan Ibrahim (Dr Nash)

I see myself as a young dentist with big dreams, that’s why I strive to be always up to date in my knowledge and practical skills not just in clinical dentistry but in understanding the art of communication to establish that rapport between me and my patient as building trust is one of my highest priorities if I want to have that deep satisfaction as a person and as a successful dentist as well.

I graduated from the university of Baghdad/Iraq in 2001, worked for 18months in both hospital and private clinics before i arrived to new Zealand in 2003, passed the new Zealand dental registration exams in 2006 and since then I have been working in private clinics in Wellington and then here in Auckland.

Being Happily married with 2 children I've experienced this fact "treat others the way you would like to be treated if you want to lead a satisfying life" and by treating my patient as a unique person through active listening, exploring carefully their concerns through thorough clinical examination and sharing the different treatment options along with short and long term goals to achieve their optimum oral health , i have been proudly recommended as a family dentist for many of my patients throughout my career.

When it comes to dentistry, I'd like to keep it simple for my patients and above all to perform it in a gentle manner leaving my patients fully informed about their oral health situation for them to take an informed decision so I can address their concerns to the best of my knowledge and experience. That’s how i could make a change and make it good.

I hope that greenhithe dental be your family dental care clinic, so welcome all.

Dr. Mowafaq Amso

I was almost halfway through a science degree at The University of Auckland when I realised that as much as I loved what I was doing, I longed for more… Short after completing that degree, I found myself moving to Dunedin and starting another degree at Otago University, only this time it was in Dentistry. And I’ve never looked back since. I do feel quite blessed to have found a career I am passionate about where I get to meet people everyday and put smiles back in their faces.

I have recently moved back to Auckland, after being away for five years, and having grown up on Auckland’s North Shore, I thought of no other place I’d rather live and work. Before moving up I spent a year working in Wellington Hospital where I learned valuable skills and tricks that I bring with me to Greenhithe. I enjoyed looking after a wide range medically-compromised patients including cancer patients, haemophiliacs as well as physically and intellectually-handicapped patients.

Part of my hospital residency was to provide after hours emergency and oncall care for trauma, facial swellings and bleeding. That cemented my interest in providing dental and surgical care for people who need it the most when they need it the most. As I slowly settle into this family-oriented practice, I look forward to get to know this beautiful community who has been so warm and welcoming.
